Nocturnal Peril

I crawl, I cry, I scream and I plead,

The manic hunger usurped,

corrodes my stomach and intestines

as I slowly turn into a ravenous beast,

The merciless game has started,

There is no time to kneel and pray,

My affable walls are turned into a torture chamber

and the concealed danger is watching me from the outside, whilst screeching like a shredding machine,

My heart pumps out the venous blood

and trepidation runs beneath my skin,

My seized brain spills the hoarded sins of mine,

My helpless limbs are constricted by the ineffable force,

This night is getting more and more darker and mustier,

I can see it despite it can’t be specifically told,

“There’s nothing worth of fighting for,” to me it says,

But this petrified war needs to end,

So I have to fight until the holy Sun rises.
