Daisy’s Notebook

The solitude that she enjoyed

isn’t lovely anymore,

She felt her routine

to be utter drudgery,

She botched the cuisine

that she mastered,

The vibrant spirit

left her shattered heart

when she sat evoking

her prior life,

scribbling on her notebook

while gazing at the raindrops.
